I'm not a fan of a few things in this model: 1. No to having expensive Batteries outside under the chassis due to heat/cold weather and chance of thieves stealing it 2. No to having generator sitting under chassis for same reasons as number one 3. No to that woven floor mat which will easily get dirty and show the marks since it's a bright color 4. No to the interior bland beige color giving it a sterile boring hospital lobby feel. I'm not color blind. So, I notice that. 5. No to a separate shower and toilet. In small RVs having a pullout toilet in a wet bath is the best. That frees up more storage area. That's a no brainer. 6. No to the divider between the living area and toilet areas just having a thin slide fabric as a door. That is not good privacy if a group is sitting inches away. 7. No to individual doors on wall cabinets. I prefer on very long door opening to minimize the need to open ten doors to find one item. And it's more sleek. 8. No to magnet window shades. The shades should be built into the window with optional one button press to open them automatically. 9. No to the large amount of sitting area compared to the small size of this RV. Usually travelers don't have that many people on a trip. 10. No to having to move tons of pillows to make the bed. The bed should just be a motorized slide into position situation. Most would agree. 11. No to how narrow the windows are. The windows should be very wide to match the wide seating area. That's another no brainer. 12. No to the circuit/breaker system being under the seating. People will just constantly knock open those doors with foot and it's uncomfortable to bend and use. 13. No to the permanent ladder welded outside the van. Why ? Anyone can climb up and mess with your stuff on the roof and it's an eye soar. A collapsible latter is better. 14. Also, not enough USB and plugin 110 volt outlets. This only has one under the seats and the other side across it has none. Hmm. 15. The windows don't seem to open. LOL. What is going on here ? To many deal breakers on this model. I love Chinook. But, this is model has too many mistakes.

Thank God Chinook returned with new models. They had stopped making Chinooks for years. But, everyone went crazy and they came back. I love this model. Everything about this model is classy and in basically the usual Chinook configuration that made them famous. This is the RV to get due to it's practicality and style which never seems dated.

This was my first attempt at class B+ RVing. I am 6’3” and I appreciate you mentioning you are 6 foot tall so I can get a proper perspective. At I am just beginning into the RV Life this Chinnock is an option that is self contained and would not require a RV and Pick up purchase QUESTIONS: 1) MSRP? 2) V6 so is diesel an option - and would I even need it? 3) Fuel capacity and estimated highway mileage

What tv size should be on the wall?

Very nice 5th wheel with a sub-par outside kitchen. Jayco really dropped the ball with the tiny fridge and no sink or prep surface outside.

I just have to say this. The older i get, the more I hate TV. Loved it as a kid. Liked it as a teenager. Absolutely hate it as an adult. UA-cam is close to TV, true. But, I find it a better medium that TV. Fewer commercials, they're shorter and you can skip most of them. And I just don't understand why you like "smart TVs" so much 🤨

I am a firm no on propane cooktops and two sinks is ridiculous in this size RV. Disappointing for Jayco.

I like it, but you forgot to show us the passenger seat area; does it have a work station? Also didn't mention whether power/USB available at dinette -important for those who use laptops or have other electrical appliances.

I would be concerned about dragging the sewer connection going into and out of gas station drives let alone trying to take it any where moderately "bumpy".

The first second I saw this rig. I knew it was a no go. The clearance is abysmal. I couldn’t even get it over the curb onto my driveway. Useless.

No place for a trash can

I was wondering what the price point of this unit would be?

I purchased a Jayco Eagle in 2019. After every trip it went back to the dealer for repairs. Replaced the radio, water heater won’t stay lit on propane. Never fixed properly and the warranty is up now. Lights over the dinning table just fell off and broken glass everywhere. The lift switch failed on me when trying to leave a camp spot. Did that by hand. After my latest trip I returned home to find ceiling molding on the floor. The first time I used it the propane smell was strong while barbecuing. I sprayed soapy water on all the connections. Ninety percent of the fittings leaked. Phone chargers in the bedroom don’t work. When I brought this to the dealers attention and was told they meet speck. The floor is starting to squeak more. There is nothing “quality” about Jayco.

where is the bunk ladder? Can I get one without an outdoor kitchen making the bottom bunk bigger. Not liking the kitchen subway tile needs color.
